I can’t wait to get started on this menu.
How is the consistency of the oatmeal once it has been defrosted? I ask because when I was grinding the oatmeal up, I always had to re-blend it once I had defrosted it and now that my little guy is eating it whole, I have to make it fresh, otherwise it soaks up all the juices from the fruit I put in it.
    Thanks!

Marissa – when I thawed the oatmeal out, I did have to add a little water to thin the consistency a bit. I found that adding a little water and then warming it up helped with the consistency. So glad you enjoy the menus!

I love your menus, but my 9 month old won’t eat purees anymore, only finger foods. She’s not quite ready for some of the things on the 12-18 months, but your 9-12 month menus are very puree-heavy. Could you consider doing a 9-12 menu with more finger foods, or a mini menu maybe? Just a thought. Thanks for all you do! I LOVE this site and my new membership! :)

  3. Tamara Needham says:

Are you no longer doing the toddler menus?

    • kim says:

We will no longer have a new baby/toddler menu each month. But watch out for kid friendly mini menus. We will also continue to tag regular recipes as “kid-friendly” when it applies. So you can proceed to our Recipes page (http://onceamonthmom.com/recipes/) and search by menu or meal type.

Excited for the kid-friendly mini menus! My guy is old enough to eat MOST of what we are eating but every once in a while it’s nice to have something in the freezer on back up for lunch or dinner when the rest of us are eating spicy or junky for the day.

  4. Karreen Broad says:

How often are you going to add toddler menus from now on?

I cannot access the paperwork even when signed in. What is the matter?
