Banana Pineapple Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 cup low fat vanilla yogurt
  • 0.5 medium banana, frozen
  • 0.5 cup orange juice
  • 0.5 cup frozen pineapple
  • 0.5 cup skim milk

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.

Freezing Directions:

Blend as directed above. Divide among indicated number of quart sized freezer storage bags, label and freeze. TO SERVE: Thaw. Knead smoothie in bag, pour into glass and enjoy.

    If you are making to freeze for later use do you need to freeze the banana and pineapple?

      Catherine – No – if you are making to pop into the freezer your banana and pineapple don’t need to be frozen.
