Better Than The Freezer Aisle: Copycat Tyson Anytizers Honey BBQ Buffalo Wings

When I was pregnant with my oldest, I ate wings nonstop.  In fact, I ate wings so much that for the past 8 years, I am reminded of that time every time I see a buffalo wing.  I don’t know about you but when I shop the freezer food aisle (yes, it happens even to the best OAMM cooks!) I am always amazed at the appetizer style food prices.  In fact, these wings are $7 for a 2 pound package at my grocery store!  I was able to make 4 pounds for $8.  Plus, these ended up so nice and crispy from the longer cooking time.  Enjoy!

Just curious, what does the baking powder do in this recipe?

Could you do this with chicken breast? We prefer the boneless style…

    • Lisa says:

Maureen – Yes – you could absolutely do this with chicken breast or chicken tenders. Just adjust the cooking time to reflect a bigger piece of meat.
