Get Ready for Summer Seasoned Burgers

I rather enjoy grilling season. In fact I’m in the market for a new grill since my trusty charcoal pit of 5 years finally bit the dust. What will I cook first when I get it? Probably these incredibly flavorful, basic burgers. The seasoning is perfect for toppings of all kinds. You could even change up the meat (or go meatless) and still use this seasoning. What is your favorite way to enjoy our nation’s favorite backyard bite?

Mix all ingrediets together in a large bowl until throughly combined. Form into equally sized patties. Proceed to freezer directions or preheat a grill to medium high heat. Cook burgers about 5 minutes on each side. Burgers should no longer be pink and should reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees. Serve burgers on toasted buns and top with your favorite condiments. {Note: You can pan fry if you don’t have a grill.}

Freezing Directions:

Place patties among gallon freezer bags, placing a square of parchment paper between them. Label and lay flat to freeze. TO SERVE: Thaw and cook on the grill as directed above.

Servings: 8
