Gluten Free Dairy Free Apple Pie Baked Oatmeal

  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cups coconut oil, melted
  • 0.25 cups brown sugar
  • 0.5 cups applesauce
  • 1 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 0.125 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 cups gluten free rolled oats
  • 1.5 cups apple pie filling


Mix all ingredients besides the oats and apple pie filling together. Mix well. Stir in the oats. Place 2 heaping Tablespoons in lined muffin tins, then top with 1 Tablespoon of apple pie filling. Bake at 350 for 18 minutes. 

Freezing Directions:

Prepare per above directions. Flash freeze. Once frozen, divide among gallon freezer bags. Label and freeze. TO SERVE: Heat in microwave 1-2 minutes, or until warm.

    I’ve never used coconut oil before. Could I substitute olive oil? Would the amount be the same?

    is there a gluten free substitute I could use for the gluten free oats? Not all Celiacs can tolerate the gluten-free oats.

    I tried this recipe with blueberry pie filling. My son liked it better than with apple pie filling. I love it with either one. Great recipe!
