Gluten Free Dairy Free Beef and Sauerkraut Soup

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 medium red onion, diced
  • 1 Tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken stock (homemade or ensure gluten free)
  • 2.5 cups beef broth (homemade or ensure gluten free)
  • 14 ounces sauerkraut with juice
  • 1 cups water
  • 1 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 whole bay leaves
  • 3 Tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoons pepper
  • 2 cups ground beef, browned

Directions:

In a slow cooker combine onion, garlic, chicken stock, beef broth, sauerkraut, water, maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, bay leaves, parsley, pepper and ground beef. Cook on low 4-6 hours.

Freezing Directions:

In a large bowl combine onion, garlic, chicken stock, beef broth, sauerkraut, water, maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, bay leaves, parsley, pepper and ground beef. Divide evenly between gallon freezer bags. Label and freeze. TO SERVE: Thaw. Cook in slow cooker on low 4-6 hours.

    Worchestchire sauce is not Gluten Free (uk brand). Could you please provide a safe alternative ?
