Gooey Pork Chops

These pork chops are a cinch to throw together, and they are delicious! They aren’t baked until serving day, which means they take about 10 minutes to be freezer ready on your freezer cooking day. Make some mashed potatoes with skim milk and green vegetable, and you have a delicious dinner on the table with very little effort.

Gooey Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 6 bone-in pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 20 ounces reduced fat cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350. In a mixing bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper together. Rub on both sides of pork chops. Place chops in large baking dish. Pour Worcestershire sauce over chops. Then cover with cream of mushroom soup. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix over dish. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.

Freezing Directions:

In a mixing bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper together. Rub on both sides of pork chops. Place chops in large baking dish. Pour Worcestershire sauce over chops. Then cover with cream of mushroom soup. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix over dish. Cover with foil. Label and freeze.  TO SERVE: Thaw. Preheat oven to 350. Bake, covered for 1 hour.

    These were delicious! I put them over a bed of Jasmine rice and served with a mixed vegetable. Even my toddler asked for seconds!
