Getting ready to watch the big game this weekend? Guacamole hummus is a great choice to take with you for game-day gatherings! The avocados and chickpeas make this dip a protein- and fiber-packed choice that will be a tasty substitute for all the junk food temptations!

- 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
- 1 15-oz. can chickpeas, drained
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
- 1 fresh jalapeno, diced (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1 tsp. cumin
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth. Serve with pita chips or use as a dip for fresh vegetables.
Transfer into a quart-size freezer bag, removing as much air as possible before sealing. Label and freeze. Thaw in refrigerator to serve.
