Homemade Italian Dressing Mix

As the holiday season draws near, many of us are probably looking for ways to impress our guests. You want to know one way to bring the “wow” factor to your holiday meal and only spend a few minutes in the kitchen? Make your own salad dressing! You can even make a big batch, wrap them in pretty baggies or jars, and send them home with your guests. If you want to spend a little extra money and give a foodie friend an awesome gift, pack it in a basket with high quality oil, vinegar, and/or salad tools (i.e. salad bowl, lettuce spinner, or salad tongs).

Finally, there are many “throw and go” recipes that call for prepared dressing or dressing mix. Having this mix on hand will help you get some delicious but easy meals on the table during this busy season in between celebrations.
