Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip

Holiday party-goers love a good dip. Add some hot, gooey cheese and they’ll never want to leave. This buffalo inspired dip comes together easily in the slow cooker while you are spending your time doing other things. Perfect for holidays, game days, or even a potluck.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients:

  • 2.67 cups chopped, cooked chicken
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cut into chunks
  • 6 ounces Franks Red Hot Wings sauce
  • 2 cups Colby Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup blue cheese crumbles

Directions:

Combine chicken, cream cheese, Frank’s sauce, Colby Jack cheese, and sour cream in a large bowl. Place in slow cooker. Cook high for 2 hours. Stir and top with blue cheese before serving.

Freezing Directions:

Combine chicken, cream cheese, Frank’s sauce, Colby Jack cheese, and sour cream in a large bowl. Place in gallon freezer storage bags. Place blue cheese crumbles in quart freezer bags and place inside gallon freezer bag with chicken mixture. Label and freeze. TO SERVE: Thaw, removing smaller bag of blue cheese from larger bag of chicken mixture. Place contents of gallon freezer bag in slow cooker. Cook high for 2 hours. Stir and top with blue cheese before serving.
