Tropical Green Smoothie

 

My kids love smoothies for breakfast, and I do too! They are a quick and easy option for hectic mornings, not to mention you can pack them with nutrition.  I was worried that the green color would deter them from drinking this healthy smoothie, but I was surprised when they asked for seconds, and asked to make sure the ingredients were on our grocery list!

Tropical Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen tropical fruit mix
  • 2 medium bananas
  • 2 cups apple juice
  • 2 cups fresh spinach

Directions:

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.  

Freezing Directions:

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.  Place into pint freezer bags.  Label and freeze.  TO SERVE:  Thaw slightly and enjoy.  

Servings: 2 smoothies
