Document Update

As you can see we have a NEW way of getting and printing your monthly menu documents. As part of that change, we have also changed the type/size of labels we use. The above labels will print four to a page and line up with Avery 8168/5168 labels or equivalent.

Test Cooks

Each month we have some wonderful volunteers who “test” out the menu prior to publication. They do an amazing job of helping to eliminate confusion and mistakes. They may not catch everything but they sure do catch A LOT! If you are interested in test cook, feel free to volunteer. Here is a little bit about this month’s test cooks:

  • Melissa Wax- I live in Seattle, WA. I am a stay at home Mom with a 4 and 5 year old who attend a preschool co-op that I currently reside over as board chair. I enjoy cooking, photography, knitting, and exploring the city with my kids. I also am a fine art portrait photographer specializing in family, fine art, business, and events. Get Started

    Hi, thanks for th is month’s update! Maybe it’s just me but I don’t see a hyperlink for the Egg Bake.

      Hi Katherine, there isn’t a hyperlink for the Egg Bake. It seems between the time we picked recipes and the menu going live, the site is now down. We have full ingredients and directions inside the documents for you though. :)

    I registered as a pro user but when I click on the “create my own menu based on this one” link it does not auto populate the menu. So then I choose the Vegetarian option again and it takes me back to the choose your menu link. I’m not sure how to begin customizing with this circular process. thanks for any help.

      Hi Rima! Sorry for the trouble! We’ve had some problems with Safari lately- not sure if that’s the browser you are using. We are working to get it fixed asap but in the meantime, Chrome or Firefox should work. If that isn’t the problem, can you email us at info at onceamonthmeals.com so we can troubleshoot more with you? Thanks!

    HI, I’m on Chrome for Mac. When I click the Upgrade Your Account link so I can add a Pro Membership and swap recipes, it takes me to a page to UpDATE my email address. I need to cook next week and I was hoping not to have to manually adjust my shopping lists; since we are dairy free and gluten free I will need to mix and match.

    Shouldn’t the farro be on the prep list to cook the night before? I noticed it says “cooked farro” on the recipe for Cauliflower Soup.
    Maybe I missed it somewhere else?
