First of all, this isn’t for the grocery store Whole Foods, it is a menu for those that want to spend more time making their meals from scratch. Update: This menu is now available in Menu Builder in addition to the Google Docs below!  As you can see we have a NEW way of getting and printing your monthly menu documents.  As part of that change, we have also changed the type/size of labels we use. The below labels in Menu Builder will print four to a page and line up with Avery 8168/5168 labels or equivalent.

Test Cooks

Each month we have some wonderful volunteers who “test” out the menu prior to publication. They do an amazing job of helping to eliminate confusion and mistakes. They may not catch everything but they sure do catch A LOT! If you are interested in test cook, feel free to volunteer. Here is a little bit about this month’s test cooks:

  • Erica Rawson – I am a wife to a darling man! We’ve been married 14 years and have four children. Two daughters (10 & 8) and two sons (3 & 1 1/2). We homeschool and love it! I love to read books, decorate the home and simplify my life whenever possible (hence my love for freezer cooking)!

    How do I know how many packages to divide the individual meals into? For example, I am cooking the spinach artichoke pasta for 4. It says to divide into freezer bags and the number of containers needed is 8. Am I understanding that I should divide it into 8 freezer bags? So would that be one serving per bag?

    Hi there. I am contemplating joining but I have food allergies (seafood and some nuts). Would this work for me?

      Yes, you can still use our menus. Uou would just have to leave out recipes that contained your allergens, or possibly just leave out that ingredient. There might be 1-2 recipes per month that you would have to leave out or adapt.

    Does the grocery list contact all the ingredients for the Chicken Broth? Even though it is an add-on? Or do I need to add the ingredients from the Chicken broth recipe to my shopping list?
