  1. I made this recipe with fresh tomatoes from our garden. It is spool good and easy to make. It did take me 15 minutes instead of 5 minutes because I used the tomatoes from the garden.

    1. Laura, the short answer is: most food items will keep 3-6 months, if wrapped and stored properly. Fruits and vegetables can go as long as 8 to 12 months! Just be sure to package it well and with as little air as possible! Otherwise, the only thing that might change over the course of time in the freezer is texture and flavor.

  2. I enjoyed this article very much. Lots of good sounding recipes I can start on. I have a Food Saver which helps to keep food fresh. Great for leftovers.
