Artichoke Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 individual French Bread
  • 1 ¾ cups drain Artichoke Hearts, Canned
  • 1 teaspoon mince Garlic, Cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • ½ cups Parmesan Cheese, Grated
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded

Directions

  1. Slice bread.
  2. In a bowl, combine drained artichokes, garlic, olive oil, Parmesan cheese and pepper.
  3. Spread evenly over sliced bread.
  4. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  5. Place under broiler for 5-7 minutes or until bread is toasty and cheese is melted and bubbly.

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Slice bread.
  2. In a bowl, combine drained artichokes, garlic, olive oil, Parmesan cheese and pepper.
  3. Spread evenly over sliced bread.
  4. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  5. Place on a cookie sheet and flash freeze.
  6. Once frozen, place in gallon freezer bag, label and freeze.

Serving Day Directions
