These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Pour melted butter into the bottom of an 8 x 8 baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together milk, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt until combined.
  3. Drizzle the batter over top of the melted butter, but DO NOT mix together. Drop fruit evenly over the top of the cobbler.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for up to 60 minutes or until crust is lightly browned and fruit is bubbling.
  5. Cool slightly and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
