Make It Now Cooking Directions

Stove Cook

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Line one 9x13 pan per 12 servings with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cereal, pecans and raisins. Set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, cook butter, sugar, honey, vanilla and cinnamon over medium heat.
  4. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously so it doesn't burn. Allow to boil for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
  5. Spoon sugar/butter mixture over cereal and stir well to combine.
  6. Using a spatula, pour into parchment paper lined baking pan and press down flat.
  7. Allow to cool for 30 minutes.
  8. Cut into equal pieces, then serve.

  1. Made these today with plain toasted oat cereal and no raisins (didn’t have any) and they taste amazing! My two year old loved them as well!
    Will definitely make again.

    1. Opal – Great question! When I have made them they do not become mushy and are certainly tasty! My kids love them for a quick breakfast on the go!
