    1. I would love to do another Whole30 soon! You could definitely try soaking a date and then mushing into a paste, or apple juice. I have also used apple sauce (unsweetened). Hope that helps!

  1. I’ve made this twIce – once with fresh and then once from frozen. The flavor was lovely but both times I had difficulty with my instant pot saying burn because the ingredients carmelized and burned to the bottom of the pot. Is there a missing liquid ingredient?

    1. Hi Sara — Thank you so much for your feedback. I’m so sorry you’ve had issues with burning with this recipe. There’s no additional liquid needed to cook this recipe. An idea you could try is using the trivet and place the pork chops on there so they are not directly on the bottom of the Instant Pot. I’ve passed on your feedback to our Menu Builder team though who will review the recipe. I hope you’ll try another recipe with us. ~OAMM

    1. Hi Wendy! This version of the recipe is cooked on the stovetop. If you’d like to make the Instant Pot version, that can be found here. That version does have water on the serving day. Thanks for checking!
