Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  3. Lock cover into place and seal steam nozzle.
  4. Cook on high pressure for 15 minutes.
  5. Naturally release pressure for 5 minutes and quick release remaining pressure.

  1. If you wanted to make this say two or four pounds of chicken breasts, would you double the other ingredients (and double them again for four pounds)?

    1. Members have the ability customize serving sizes. If you have questions about membership, we’d love to chat with you in the bottom-right hand corner! However, the basic answer is yes 🙂 you’ll want to keep an eye on your Instant Pot capacity as it might alter your cooking time.

  2. Is it possible to replace the soda with something else? Is so any ideas on what? I try to avoid soda whenever possible….but hear this recipe is delicious. Thank you!

    1. You could try a healthier brand of soda like Hanson’s that uses real cane sugar or sparkling water like La Croix. Please let us know what you end up using and how it turns out! Enjoy! 🙂

    1. If a recipe asks for “vinegar”, a standard type is implied, namely white vinegar. There certainly are more vinegars than just the white and the cider one (white wine or balsamic are also often used).

  3. I hate to sound stupid, but what does “one pound quarter chicken, boneless breasts” mean? 1 and 1/4 pounds? Or a choice of chicken quarters or breasts?
    Thank you! This sounds delicious!!

    1. Not a stupid question at all! It means that you should cut each chicken breast into quarters (this helps the chicken to cook faster and more evenly in the Instant Pot).
