  • 1 ½ cups cook Ground Beef
  • ⅔ cups dice Onion
  • ⅛ teaspoons Sea Salt
  • 2 teaspoons mince Garlic, Cloves
  • 2 tablespoons peel and mince Ginger, Fresh
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Aminos
  • 4 teaspoons Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Almond Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Water
  • 2 teaspoons Honey, Raw
  • 2 teaspoons Chili Garlic Sauce

  • ½ cups dice Green Onion (Scallion)
  • ¾ cups drain and chop Sliced Water Chestnuts, Canned
  • 10 individual Lettuce, Leaf
  • ¼ cups Cashews, Raw

These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Divide beef and diced onion into 1/2 of the indicated number of quart freezer bags.
  2. Combine sea salt, garlic, ginger, coconut aminos, rice vinegar, sesame oil, almond butter, water, honey, and chile garlic sauce in a bowl.
  3. Divide into indicated number of pint freezer bags.
  4. Place a sauce bag inside of each beef bag; label and freeze.

Stovetop

These directions help you cook or reheat this meal AFTER it's been frozen for when you are ready to eat it.

  1. Thaw: In fridge
  2. In a large skillet, warm the beef and onion mixture.
  3. In a saucepan, warm the sauce over medium heat. Stir until it has a smooth consistency and is warmed through. Add to the beef.
  4. Stir in green onions and water chestnuts and cook until heated through.
  5. Scoop into lettuce leaves and top with cashews.
