- Cook macaroni noodles according to package directions until al dente.
- In a separate saucepan, combine ground beef and onions. Cook for 5 minutes until onions start to soften.
- Stir in sour cream, soup, beef broth, salt, and black pepper.
- Cook over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.
- Drain noodles and stir in sauce.

Join the discussionWe do this, too! Except instead of beef broth, I use brown gravy! It makes it a thicker “sauce” with the meat mixture. We eat it with peas and corn.
I make one like this except I cook it in the crockpot after browning the hamburger. Great for days you want dinner ready when you get home! Just make the pasta and you are done!
