These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Cook macaroni noodles according to package directions until al dente.
  2. In a separate saucepan, combine ground beef and onions. Cook for 5 minutes until onions start to soften.
  3. Stir in sour cream, soup, beef broth, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Remove from heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.
  6. Drain noodles and stir in sauce.

  1. We do this, too! Except instead of beef broth, I use brown gravy! It makes it a thicker “sauce” with the meat mixture. We eat it with peas and corn.

  2. I make one like this except I cook it in the crockpot after browning the hamburger. Great for days you want dinner ready when you get home! Just make the pasta and you are done!
