  • ¼ cups Ketchup

  • ½ tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Flour, All-Purpose

  1. Sprinkle roast with garlic salt and pepper.
  2. Place in slow cooker.
  3. Mix all other ingredients together and pour over roast in slow cooker.
  4. Cook on low for 8-9 hours.
  5. Remove roast and onions.
  6. Shred pork and discard onions.
  7. Add roast back to sauce in slow cooker.

  1. Any idea if you can make this with diet rootbeer? I only have diet in the house, but would love to try it sometime.

  2. please email response if possible…I am always confused by this…do I put ingredients in bag assembled but raw to freeze or do i cook first, cool and assemble and then cook in crockpot again?

  3. Thanks for the clarification. I had assumed that you cooked the pork and put the pulled pork with sauce into the freezer. That way – nothing to cook when you pulled it out!

    1. Christine you could find a more natural root beer such as Boylan’s, Zevia or Blue Sky. Look for as little ingredients as possible.
