Slow Cooker Mango Pork

I got some inspiration from the Once A Month Mom & DOLE Frozen Fruit Menu contest entries. This recipe was an inspiration of looking at several different recipes to come up with one that worked for us. You could also substitute chicken if you aren't a fan of pork.

Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients except pork and frozen mango.
  2. Place pork in slow cooker.
  3. Add sauce to slow cooker then add frozen mango.
  4. Cook on HIGH for 4-6 hours or LOW 7-9 hours.

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Divide all ingredients except frozen mango among indicated number of freezer bags.
  2. Label and freeze.

  1. Place contents of bag into slow cooker and add frozen mango.
  2. Cook on HIGH for 4-6 hours or LOW 7-9 hours.
