Join the discussionI LOVE your stickers for the meals! I wouldn’t of thought of it. What a way to make life easier! If one wanted to cut cost a bit more, they could even print those on paper and tape them on.
Does it have to be egg substitute or can you use real egg?
Lindsey-
I would think that if you whisked eggs with a little water it would probably work as well.
Ok thank you, going to try that this weekend!
I would think you could also sub crumbled bacon or diced ham for the sausage – or even chorizo. And maybe add chopped mushrooms, diced green pepper, and/or diced onion, etc. for more grown-up palates. I love this idea and am going to experiment with it. Always looking for good “breakfast for dinner” recipes, too. (Nobody in my house gets up early enough to eat breakfast. Maybe for brunch?)
BTW, I love all your recipes. I have not figured out how to do the once a month cooking thing (mainly because I don’t have any way to set aside a whole day for cooking – I barely have time to cook just dinner most nights) but I desperately want to!
Helena, I have found that if I double freezable recipes when I’m cooking that I can usually have several meals in the freezer I can just pop out to thaw the night before when I know it’s going to be a busy day or my husband will be doing the cooking. All he has to do is read the directions and shove it in the oven or the crockpot.
Hi! Do you think you could assemble the pizza and freeze before cooking and then cook when you are ready to eat?
Erin – If doing this way I would recommend fully cooking the crescent roll crust first. Let us know how it turns out!
Hi,
What is crescent roll? Is it the same as french croissant?
Crescent rolls can be found near or sometimes in the dairy case at the grocery, with the refrigerated biscuits.
