I decided that I needed to do the monthly meal plan write up for myself! I, obviously, didn’t use up my meals quick enough last month so perhaps writing them out this month will help me to get a handle on using them effectively. Here is our plan for this month. March Menu:
- We eat the breakfasts throughout the month and not at a particular setting: Chocolate Chip Raspberry Pancakes, Whole Wheat Orange Spice Muffins.
- Nights that are listed as ? – TBD are nights that we I will be making something of my own. Nights where non-freezer meals are used do not have links.
- We will eat the following throughout the month for weekday lunches: Baked Chicken Fingers, Spinach Tortellini Soup, Pizza Roll-Ups
- We will be “tithing” the following meals to others who are having babies, in the hospital, or in general have a need for a cooked meal: 1 Shepherd’s Pie, 1 Mandarin Orange Chicken, 1 Orange Marmalade Salmon.
- We will be on vacation the last half of this month and will be taking the following meals with us (packed with dry ice): 1 Raspberry Chicken, Mexican Stuffed Shells,

1 – Shrimp with Roasted Peppers and Feta, Salad 2 – House Church – Dinner with Church family 3 – Mexican Stuffed Shells, salad, bread 4 – Breakfast – Farmer’s Casserole
Lunch – Leftovers
Dinner – Firecracker Salmon, asparagus, rolls
5 – Lunch – Jaime’s Minestrone, Baked Chicken Fingers
Dinner – Buffalo Shrimp, rice, green beans
6 – ? – TBD 7 – Shepherd’s Pie, Salad, dinner rolls 8 – Leftovers 9 – House Church – Dinner with Church family 10 – Mandarin Orange Chicken, Veggie/Pasta mix, salad 11 – Lunch – Baked Chicken Fingers atop a salad, fruit

12 – Breakfast – Farmer’s Casserole
Lunch – Easter dinner with family
Dinner – Orange Marmalade Salmon, rice
13 – ? – TBD 14 – Shrimp with Roasted Peppers and Feta, edamame and corn 15 – Jaime’s Minestrone, Baked Chicken Fingers 16 – House Church – Dinner with Church family 17 – Leftovers 18 – Once A Month Mom Cooking BIG DAY – eating out! 19 – Buffalo Shrimp, rice, Garlic Oven Fries 20 – ? – TBD 21 – Leftovers 22 – Firecracker Salmon, au gratin potatoes, rolls 23 – ? TBD 24 – May 6 – VACATION! (Don’t worry, we will have a computer so no need to fret about whether the May menu will come out on time! It will!) 🙂
