Don’t Panic – Dinner’s in the Freezer: Great-Tasting Meals You Can Make Ahead

This cookbook is perfect for once a month cooks. It is a freezer cookbook designed to assist you in preparing meals to stockpile your freezer. The book teaches you to choose your recipes based upon the featured sale items at the grocery store. On average, each entrée included in the book will cost from $4.50 – $6.50 to feed a family of four. And these are GOOD meals! We are not talking about casseroles made with hamburger, a can of soup, and potato chips crunched up on top.

Don’t Panic–More Dinner’s in the Freezer: A Second Helping of Tasty Meals You Can Make Ahead

This is the follow-up book to the one above. It too has lots of recipes for stockpiling your freezer. They would make a great companion gift.

Mad Hungry: Feeding Men and Boys

This cookbook focuses on feeding the men in your life. Not only is it filled with great hearty recipes, but it is also filled with great tips, suggestions, and witty comments about handling a house full of men (and their stomachs). I love that it isn’t all meat and potatoes either. This is a beautifully illustrated cookbook as well, great for the kitchen counter or display piece for a dinner party.

Make Ahead Meals for Busy Moms

I actually contacted this author because I thought that she was on to a great thing. This is exactly what we do, and I talk with all of you a lot, and you are busy folks! I like this cookbook because it has a good many recipes that can be frozen. It also has meals that you can make ahead and refrigerate if you are having a family feast, dinner party, or just preparing for the week.

Make It Fast, Cook It Slow: The Big Book of Everyday Slow Cooking

I hope you know by now that I love, love, love this cookbook. Where would we be without our slow cookers? I wouldn’t want to know life without it. And Stephanie’s cookbook is full of so many easy to pull together meals for your slow cooker. It really is a MUST HAVE resource for any busy woman.

Once-A-Month Cooking Family Favorites: More Great Recipes That Save You Time and Money

Another great once-a-month cookbook. This one is great for OAMM readers because it includes meal plans, grocery lists, and instructions just like this site. The cookbook contains several two-week plans as well for those of you that are looking to start out a bit smaller or have limited space.

Disclosure: During the course of this year, I have received one of these cookbooks from the author and one to giveaway to readers, with the exception of Mad Hungry: Feeding Men and Boys The opinions about these cookbooks are my own. Many of them, I contacted the author to ask if they would be interested in a review. Not vice versa which I purchased on my own but the author provided a copy for giving away.
