Copycat Jimmy Dean Sausage Breakfast Bowl

I’ll be honest, I’ve never been a huge scrambled egg person. However, it turns out once you mix them with some sausage and cheese, I’m all kinds of excited. If I told you that this Copycat Jimmy Dean Sausage Breakfast Bowl was absolutely amazing, it would be an understatement. My husband, of course, took it to the next level and sauteed up some onions to top it. You won’t find onions in this recipe as it’s a copycat and the original didn’t have onions.

Now, to be completely upfront, this won’t look as pretty once it’s been frozen as the Jimmy Dean version even though it will still taste great. It will all mix together, whereas the other version has each ingredient separately frozen.

Not only did this homemade recipe taste better than the frozen aisle version, I got 4 servings for $4.25 compared to the grocery store price of $10 for 4 servings. I would say that’s a no brainer! And you can save even more when you find a really good deal on eggs. What a great way to stock up without them going to waste!
