We have heard this time, after time, especially since the outbreak of COVID.
And as much as we agreed with all of you, the solution and resources to be able to decrease our membership costs just haven’t been there for this small business to stomach in addition to all the other COVID financial implications. But it has continued to be front and center of our minds and a discussion we have as a team on a regular basis.
Then, we asked ourselves a NEW question: HOW could we reduce company resources/offerings to allow us to lower membership costs?
This question not only clarified the HOW but also helped us to SIMPLIFY! And if you have spent any time around here, you will know one of our core values is SIMPLIFICATION! Making life easier for you so that you can enjoy the things you love. . .not be in the kitchen. . .or on an app all day.
In order to make that happen, these are the resources/offerings that will NO LONGER be available as of June 1:
Membership Community
The internal community will not exist BUT we are active on Tik Tok, Instagram and Youtube for these open and interactive conversations!
MONTHLY Featured Meal Plans
Seasonal (Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter) Meal Plan Collections will replace the monthly featured plans. There are over 1200+ Curated Meal Plans in the OAMM system for you to choose and creating more only continues to overwhelm our users (and our staffing resources).
Instacart Integration
In addition to not being a great user experience, we don’t have the staff resources to keep up with making sure this integration stays functional; therefore, it has to go!
Member Weekly Emails
Does ANYONE need ANOTHER email in their inbox to read, engage with or respond to? Nope! Use that time to meal plan or live life! If you need us, you know where to find us!
On-Staff Developer
The technology infrastructure and customer accounts are being secured and maintained but there will be no focus on feature development beyond what exists today.
Dedicated Online Chat Hours
We will still have the chat feature but it will now require your email and be a response time of <24 M-F hours.
On-staff Registered Dietitian
ALL recipes/meal plans/nutrition information are still curated by a Registered Dietitian AND the nutrition information is to the USDA Dietitians industry standard (ESHA).
