    1. You could try cooking them at 400° for 30-35 minutes or until it reaches 150° in the thickest part. Then you’d probably want to broil for a few minutes to crisp the bacon. *This is just a recommendation. A lot will depend on the thickness of your chops and this method has not been tested by our test cooks.* Report back to us on how it goes!

  1. Toothpicks and freezer bags together did not end well. These need to be in a solid plastic container, I recommend updating the recipe instructions.

    1. Hi Elizabeth! You are welcome to use a plastic container as well if toothpicks didn’t work for you. It can still be done with toothpicks – you just may need to angle them a bit differently. Sometimes the toothpick does pierce the bag but depending on the brand of bag – it will still keep the food fresh if you don’t move it around.
