Hi Amy, Great question. Yes you can cook in your Instant Pot for 0 minutes. That essentially means that the pot will come to pressure and then shut off giving it enough time for the pasta to cook but not get over cooked. Hope this helps!
I didn’t have any Half and Half when I made this so substituted half a block of cream cheese and it came out great! Wish I had thought to soften the cheese first but once melted it was a great taste.
I’ve made this twice and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but the chicken freezes in a big block and it doesn’t cook all the way through so I have to put it in for longer. Is there any reason not to dice it from the beginning?
Hi Becca,
We’re sorry to hear this recipe is giving you issues! Pressure cooking can be so tricky! The container- the way in which the items freeze- you might try layering things to prevent the chicken from freezing in that clump (but I know that sometimes with the ingredients that just isn’t possible and this recipe is one of those). I think the dicing the chicken would be a great way to solve the problem! Write back and let us know if that works please!
