Join the discussionAlthough tasty, this wound up being very watery. I’d omit the chicken broth next time or drain the diced tomatoes.
This was really delicious! After everything was cooked, and before adding the cream, I used an immersion blender to make the soup nice and smooth. I think that made a big difference — I wasn’t too excited about a chunky tomato soup. We served with croutons, toast, or grilled sandwiches, with a sprinkling of cheese on the soup.
