    1. As noted in step 2 of the “Freeze for Later” instructions, the onions are actually frozen in a separate zip lock bag when freezing this recipe. When cooking from frozen, they are sauteed in the ghee prior to adding the rest of the frozen meal.

  1. I can only get frozen short ribs so I’ll have to defrost them to cube them. Is it ok to defrost and refreeze them?

    1. As long as these stay out of the danger zone and you thaw and refreeze correctly (not in hot water or on the countertop) -you should be ok!

  2. Hi! I made one batch to cook now, so I went to the actual website for the recipe. It calls for boneless short ribs, rather than short ribs. This is a totally different cut of meat and the measurements aren’t equivalent. I have make now bone-in ribs cooking now, but this does involve conversions. Will my cook from frozen recipe need an adjustment as well?

    1. Holly, I believe the changes were made because bone-in ribs are more tender and when freezing/cooking from frozen, this would be important!
