  1. Hi there. I love this recipe and have made it several times but after cooking for 25 minutes in the IP, mine is never cooked to the required temp and is still cold in a few spots. I have finished cooking it in the IP but I have found it easiest to remove the foil from the IP, place it on a cookie sheet and continue to cook for 20 mins in the oven at 350. It’s an additional step but it crisps up the loaf a bit compared to the IP and reaches the needed temp.

    1. Hi Robin, I’m so sorry this recipe never cooks to temperature for you. Do you mind telling me what size Instant Pot and how many servings you’re cooking for so I can pass it along to our Menu Builder team to review. I’m glad you’ve found a work around that works for you and your family though! Thanks for sharing.

    2. Ohh that sounds delicious! Sometimes if put into the IP solid and whole it will take longer to cook as it is defrosting. I love the idea of the baking and I will pass it along to the menu builder team! Thanks!

  2. As a courtesy…please remove the word dump from this recipe’s title. It doesn’t sound right. Maybe go with set and forget instead.

    Good luck.
    Bk

  3. My first attempt was cold in the center as well. Prepped and cooked just as your instructions stated. I’m using an 8 quart instant pot.
Doing the second attempt tonight. Set it for 35 minutes. Still cold in the middle.
The meatloaf once done is delicious! But cannot at all see how you got it done in 20-25 minutes!

    1. Hi Kati, We originally published this and increased the time based on our test cook feedback. However, since we continue to receive complaints on the timing we are increasing this to 35 minutes. Thanks for your feedback!
