  1. Nutrition info looks incorrect. Calculated per the ingredients and came up with corrected info (per serving): 318 calories, 43.9 g total fat, 3.9 g saturated fat, 2 g carbs, 1.4 g fiber, 0.6 g sugar, 3.5 g protein

    1. Thank you for your feedback. The nutrition information for this recipe is correct based on the calculations completed by our Registered Dietitian using ESHA’s Food Processor software – the gold standard in the industry. Please be aware that nutrition calculations will vary based on which software you use and which specific ingredients that software uses to calculate the values, and that internet nutrition calculators using crowd-sourced nutrition databases are meant to provide estimates and are not 100% accurate.

    2. I think you might have forgotten to include calories for 1/2 cup of pecans… that’s 515 cals by themselves! Maybe just the salmon makes sense at 318… 🙂

  2. I am a dietitian and I concur you have the calories way off for this! I ran this recipe through my professional software and the nutritional information per serving (1/2 of the recipe) is as follows: 590 calories, 35g protein, 49g fat, and 4g carbs.

I use USDA approved software as well and I think your dietitian may have made an entry error (it happens).

I HIGHLY suggest you have your dietitian re-run this through the software as there is clearly an error. I do nutrient assessments of recipes as part of my daily work as well and just eyeballing this I knew it was way off!
