Join the discussionThere is something wrong with this recipe. At 4 servings is says 1 gallon bag is required, s when you read the Freeze For Later instructions and it says 1. Divide the chicken among the indicated number of freezer bags. 2. Divide remaining ingredients among bags. 3. Label and freeze. and only one bag is required it sounds like everything goes in that one bag – like a marinade. After thawing when reading the prep instructions it is clear that the sauce and chicken were never meant to be combined.
Sorry for any confusion, Melissa! You were originally correct, it is supposed to be bagged/frozen/thawed together. You’ll take the sauce made from the cooking process in the slow cooker to reduce it down per steps 4-6 on your serving day. We hope this helps!
