Slow Cooker Apple Bourbon Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 pounds boneless pork chops
  • 1 teaspoons sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons pepper
  • 1.5 cups granny smith apples, diced
  • 6 Tablespoons bourbon (substitute: 2 teaspoons vanilla extract plus 6 teaspoons water for each Tablespoon of bourbon.)
  • 0.33 cups sucanat
  • 0.5 cups applesauce
  • 1 Tablespoons honey
  • 1 Tablespoons worchestershire

Directions:

Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Place pork chops in the bottom of slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine apples, bourbon, sucanat, applesauce, honey, and worchestershire. Pour glaze over the chops. Cook on low for 4 hours.

Freezing Directions:

Season pork chops with salt and pepper. In a small bowl, combine apples, bourbon, sucanet, applesauce, honey, and worchestershire. Divide meat and sauce among gallon freezer bags. Label and freeze. TO SERVE: Thaw. Cook in slow cooker on low for 4 hours.
