Occasionally we put out a call out to ALL readers to find out if you are interested in being a Once A Month Meals Test Kitchen. If you are you will need to be able to do the following:
- Be able to keep the meal plan TOP SECRET until when it is revealed.
- Be able to cook the meal plan in it’s entirety. We send 3-6 recipes that double to 6-12 meals.
- For a rare case, you can change ingredients if it is a family preference or allergy. We prefer you not sub in any recipes – we want to get a feel for the doable nature of the meal plan and any glitches made. (We sometimes gift meals to others that our family won’t eat).
- Take notes as you go on amounts that were wrong or instructions that needed clarifying. Get notes to us within 48 hours of finishing.
- Contact us in an emergency or if you don’t know how to improvise a recipe.
- Acknowledge that there WILL be mistakes.
- Keep it top secret. (Did we mention that already?)
- Feel free to send us any questions before hand.
If you think that you are up for the challenge, we would LOVE to have you on board! We ask everyone who is interested to fill out a brief survey. We then pair up test cooks with meal plans that fit their preferences.
Test cooks who successfully complete the predetermined number of meal plans for us over the months will receive membership benefits. If you have a blog you are welcome to write about your experience AFTER you have tested and the meal plan is made public.
