Oven Cook
These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- In a large bowl whisk together almond flour, baking soda, sea salt, chocolate chips, and nuts.
- In a small bowl, melt honey and coconut oil in the microwave if necessary.
- Add honey mixture, egg, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix to combine.
- Chill dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Grease an 8 x 8 foil baking pan with coconut oil. Remove dough from refrigerator and pour evenly into the pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Test doneness with a toothpick.
- Cool or serve warm with coconut milk ice cream.

Join the discussionI am new to the paleo lifestyle. I have been trying new recipes out on the family. They all love this. I doubled this recipe. I only cooked seven cookies because the batter is so good. My husband said he would easy these paleo chocolate chip cookies over regular chocolate chip cookies any day. I also ate a small amount of batter, maybe a little more than that,but I’m so full. I love how it satisfies my craving and my hunger. The result was very good, but I have a few comments. The dough was very very thick. No way could it be ‘poured’ into the pan. Cook time of 20 minutes was plenty. Mine did not look like your picture. Yours looks smooth on top and chocolatey. Mine looked very different. I don’t understand why. I followed the recipe exactly.
Hi Norma! That is hard to figure! The only thing that seems like it could be different is possibly the honey – some honey is very thick? Hope you still enjoyed them!
