Make It Now Cooking Directions
These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- In a saucepan, add lemon juice, vinegar, maple syrup, ginger, strawberries, onions, carrots, and bacon fat #1.
- Over medium high heat, bring to a boil, then lower to a simmer.
- Add in smoked salt.
- Simmer for 20 minutes until carrots are soft.
- Transfer to blender and blend until smooth.
- Place back in saucepan and cook for 10 more minutes.
- Heat skillet over medium high heat.
- Add bacon fat #2. Brown chicken thighs on all sides.
- Add a Tablespoon or more of bbq sauce onto each chicken thigh.
- Place in oven at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
