Freeze For Later Cooking Directions

These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Stir the quinoa and almond milk together in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil.
  2. Cover and lower the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Keeping the lid slightly off-set, so as to not fully cover the pan.
  3. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
  4. Using a cookie scoop, portion out the bites onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Let cool.
  7. Divide among the indicated number of freezer bags. Label and freeze.
