Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Place dates, macadamia nuts, apples and almonds in a food processor, and pulse until just chopped. Transfer to mixing bowl.
  2. Add in coconut oil and cinnamon. Mix well with hands.
  3. Using parchment paper, flatten mixture into equal bars.
  4. Wrap in parchment paper, place in freezer bag, label and freeze.
