  • 1/4 teaspoons Cinnamon #1
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup #1

  • 4 teaspoons Cornstarch
  • 1 3/4 cups Milk #2
  • 1 1/4 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2/3 cups Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup #2
  • 3/4 teaspoons Cinnamon #2

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add apples, water, cinnamon #1, maple syrup #1.
  2. Simmer until apples are soft and liquid is reduced to half, about 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from saucepan and refrigerate.
  4. In a bowl, whisk milk #1 and cornstarch together and set aside.
  5. In a large saucepan, heat milk #2, cream, sugar, salt, vanilla, maple syrup #2 and cinnamon #2.
  6. Bring to a boil and cook for 4 minutes.
  7. Add cornstarch and milk mixture to large saucepan and cook for 2 minutes.
  8. Add in cream cheese and stir to combine.
  9. Refrigerate until cold.
  10. Pour into ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer directions.
  11. Once ice cream is ready, fold in apple mixture.
  12. Divide among indicated number of freezer containers. Cover tightly with foil, label and freeze.
