<p>Shredded Brussels sprouts mixed with orzo and bacon makes for a quick meal. It's a great way to sneak in Brussels sprouts for those who might not think they like them!</p>

  • 2 ounces Canadian Bacon
  • 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
  • 4 cups dice Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme, Dried
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, Grated
  • 1 teaspoon Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoons Black Pepper

  1. Prepare orzo according to package directions.
  2. In a skillet, brown the Canadian bacon. Set aside and chop.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and brussel sprouts and saute 4-5 minutes.
  4. Add in dried thyme, cooked orzo, chopped Canadian bacon, Parmesan, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.
