  • 4 1/2 teaspoons Instant Dry Yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups peel, cook, and mash Yukon Gold Potato

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Place flour into a bowl and add salt, sugar and yeast.
  2. Place potatoes and milk into another bowl and warm in microwave for 30 seconds at a time until just warm.
  3. Stir milk mixture into flour mixture.
  4. Add in more flour, a bit at a time until dough comes together in a ball.
  5. Turn dough onto floured surface and knead for 5 minutes.
  6. Knead in red onions and cooked sausage.
  7. Cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
  8. Line a baking pan with parchment paper sprayed with cooking spray. Divide dough into 4 balls and shape into loaves.
  9. Cover and allow to double in size.
  10. Bake at 400F for 30-40 minutes or until browned.
  11. Allow to cool.
  12. Wrap, label and freeze.
