  • ¾ pounds Beef Roast
  • ½ cups Barbecue Sauce

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Trim visible fat from roast.
  2. Place in a slow cooker and pour barbecue sauce over the meat.
  3. Cook on high approx. 8 hours or until meat is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  4. Shred meat with two forks.
  5. Serve on buns.

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Trim visible fat from roast.
  2. Place in a slow cooker and pour barbecue sauce over meat.
  3. Cook on high approx. 8 hours or until meat is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  4. Shred meat with two forks.
  5. Allow to cool.
  6. Divide into indicated number of freezer bags. Label and freeze.
