Why would I want to freeze this?
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, red onion, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Divide into .5 inch thick patties.
- Peel and spiralize parsnips.
- Heat skillet over medium high heat and add coconut oil.
- Add parsnips to hot oil and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove and allow to drain on paper towels.
- Divide burgers with wax paper and place into indicated number of freezer bags.
- Divide fried parsnips among indicated number of quart bags. Place a quart bag into each gallon bag. Label and freeze.
