Freeze For Later Cooking Directions

These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Line muffin tin with paper liners; set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, oats, sugars, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  3. In a large glass measuring cup or another bowl, whisk together milk, applesauce, vegetable oil, eggs and vanilla.
  4. Pour mixture over dry ingredients and stir using a rubber spatula just until moist.
  5. Add blueberries and gently toss to combine.
  6. Scoop the batter evenly into the muffin tray.
  7. Sprinkle with granola.
  8. Place into oven and bake at 400 for 15-17 minutes, or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool.
  10. Once cool, place into indicated number of freezer bags, label and freeze.
