These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Place egg in a bowl for egg wash.
  2. Combine bread crumbs, parmesan, Italian seasoning, pepper, salt, garlic powder and onion powder in a flat bowl.
  3. Cut chicken breasts in half lengthwise to make them thinner.
  4. Then, wrap each breast in plastic wrap and flatten using a meat mallet.
  5. On top of each chicken breast, layer swiss cheese, american cheese and deli ham.
  6. Roll chicken up tightly.
  7. Dip rolled chicken into egg wash, then place in bread crumb bowl.
  8. Cover outside of chicken with bread crumbs, using your hands if necessary.
  9. Place breaded chicken seam side down in a greased baking pan.
  10. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
