Cheddar Butter Burgers - Dump and Go Dinner

<p>My husband LOVES to grill. He also LOVES to experiment! For the most part, his experiments turn out delicious! So I gave him a crack at a Once A Month Mom recipe! Taste and see what you think.</p>

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 tablespoons Parsley, Dried
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons Chives, Dried
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons Basil, Dried
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons Oregano, Dried
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons Tarragon, Dried
  • 2 teaspoons mince Garlic, Cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper #1
  • 1 cup soften Butter
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1/4 cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper #2

  • 4 individual Hamburger Buns, White

Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Place herbs, garlic, pepper #1 and butter in food processor and beat until light and fluffy.
  2. Lay a 12-inch-square piece of parchment paper on your work surface and mound the flavored butter in the center.
  3. Roll it up into a cylinder, twisting the ends to compact the butter.
  4. Flash freeze butter until firm.
  5. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, hand mix ground beef, cheese, salt, and pepper #1.
  6. Divide into equal balls and mash into hamburger shapes.
  7. Unwrap the roll of butter and cut crosswise into 1/2-inch slices (appx. 1 Tablespoon).
  8. Place 1 Tablespoon of Garlic-Herb Butter in the middle of the burger and seal up.
  9. Grill or pan fry over medium heat until burger reaches desired doneness.
  10. Serve on a hamburger bun.
  11. Store any unused garlic-herb butter for later use.
