These cheese twists are similar to a biscuit but are prepared in a fun way. I made up a batch of these and stored them in the freezer. Just a few seconds in the microwave and they taste almost like they are fresh from the oven.

- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ¼ cups Butter
- 6 tablespoons Water, Cold
- 4 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, Grated

Make It Now Cooking Directions
These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- In a large bowl, mix flours and salt.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Slowly add enough water to form a soft dough.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese.
- Turn dough out onto floured surface and knead lightly.
- Roll dough out to a 1/8 inch thickness.
- In a small bowl, beat egg.
- Cut into 1 inch wide strips, twist, and place on baking sheet.
- Brush strips with beaten egg and bake at 400 for 15 minutes until twists are golden brown.

Would a refrigerator dough work like Pillsbury bread sticks and add the butter and cheese?
